"You seriously haven't noticed the social stigma to openly state you don't want this vaccine?
The peer pressure being formed that if you want to visit pro vax friends, keep your job, be able to travel etc isn't real? hmm"
god no ------------- I'm in France --------- not Australia
there's a lot more frogs who are suspicious of vaccines than in Oz - but, frogs are different -
NOTHING stops people having dinner together if allowed - NOTHING -
wars don't stop the french having lunch, protests stop in time for people to go home for dinner or out for dinner -----
I can tell almost to the minute when protesters appear here on the river bank when they'll bugger off - and, I can tell you exactly what the discussions will be around the dinner table - they will be talking about food - nothing replaces the important stuff.
atm of course - there's curfews from 6pm to 6am - so - that's a downer -
but, once things are open - well, there's not much open - but, as soon as the tabac shops are open or cafes that sell take away - no sitting down allowed - you see people all conveniently buying take away coffees - and, just by coincidence - not taking it away but standing about drinking it - clearly a safety issue carrying hot coffee - so, it has to be consumed and it's just coincidence that mates who happen to be at the same cafe at the same time - well - what a coincidence
in that - jack might not be getting the vaccine - but, fred will - but, oh, god no - they're still going to be coincidently drinking coffee together and they are still going to be playing bolle together tomorrow afternoon in the legally permitted group size of maximum 10 ----------- where Pinto rides by and counts 20 or 25 -------- maths is a different form here.
one doesn't get the aggressive brainless bonehead stuff here like in some other places ---------- about the most heated debates centre on whether champagne or cremant is superior - even then, that has to be settled by opening another one to check
