Post separation and decades ago I was involved with someone good at closing the door and locking us both out.
The doggie door was impossible no matter head or feet first. Dog thought it fun either way.
Neighbour had a great extension ladder and up I would go to the upstairs bedroom window. I never did get around
to putting a lock on it - just as well.
This joint - I have to lock the door behind me. LOL
New habit - keys around the neck.
