have had 4 toshiba laptops over the last 12 years, well built and good units however after sales service and warranty sux, often have to wait for parts to arrive, turnaround can be between 1-4 days for warranty repairs.

4 months ago I bought a Dell Latitude D820, very good unit, 3 years next day on site warranty. I wasnt very happy with the screen, one call and a service techo was booked in for the next day to replace the screen. Downtime.....30mins


I'll be buying dell again.
