asus are good machines. i have 2 - 1 about 2 years old and still going straong.

many laptop makers actually use asus motherboards and other hardware such as toshiba so if toshiba uses asus then they must be good. the first 60gig laptop was an asus which i bought.

2 year warrenty which is fantastic and they are pretty reliable.

im fairly hard on mine so have had 1 in a couple of times with no complaints.
