You are quite right, just trying to make a point (and you understood that anyway).
When the late director was part of the PPK board the percentage was more like 33% and before AICIC distributed its PPK shares to it's shareholders it would have been considered a strategic shareholder and the percentage not part of the investable weighted average (IWA) would have been over 40% and the market cap would have to have been $3.33b for the IWA to be at $2b.
In terms of competition for getting into the ASX200, there are other companies in the ASX300 that are vying for a spot (eg VUL; IMU etc etc). Then there could be the dark horses like Li-S Energy,...
