If you look at the posts above yours, you'll see I have already acknowledged the difference in the two indicies over an hour before your post...you weren't telling me anything I didn't already know.
I couldn't find anything about it being a "C Grade Index" anywhere, but if you look on the 24 listed S&P/ASX Indicies at the ASX, you'll find it as the XAT.
Actually, you should inform the ASX of your findings...I'm quite sure they'd have it removed from the list of 24 if they knew it was only a "C Grade" Index!
What would be the equivalent B Grade Index then?
