As far as I know, a decision on the quarterly rebalance of the S&P/ASX Indices will be made at the beginning of September and will come into effect 2-3 weeks later. From your point of view, is there a possibility that Sayona will be included in the ASX300? And if so, can this be expected to have a noticeable positive effect on the share price?
I took a look at the following website which ranks ASX listed companies by market capitalization in descending order: https://www.marketindex.com.au/asx-listed-companies
According to this, Sayona is ranked 328th at the moment and would have to increase it's market cap by ~20 % to be ranked as 300th (assuming that market cap is the only relevant factor).
