mostly correct... there are definitely retail funds that will allow choice of ASX stocks to be invested in... These aren't Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF). I think this is where people are getting confused... they are a retail fund that allow more flexibility than some other retail funds.... but, nothing like the flexibility and choice of an SMSF.
