ASX ANNOUNCEMENT 5 July 2004 HANDOVER The Company is pleased to advise that the fixed wireless telecommunications network installation on Langkawi was handed over last week to the customer for operation within their network. This was as a result of the completion of over 422 separate tests that were part of the customer’s required Acceptance Test Procedures (“ATP’s”) as well as additional requested tests, all of which have been conducted by a team of engineers from Cape Range Wireless, Sapura and the customer. During the past several weeks, the Company was requested to include tests to demonstrate fault localisation and performance. Additional tests were also carried out to qualify the 512 kbps fractional lease line that is used for Internet connectivity for schools and businesses in Malaysia. The Company’s Arcadian Multiservice Platform is now part of the bundle of services qualified by the customer for inclusion in the rollout in Malaysia. The Company would like to publicly extend their appreciation to the engineering staff at EWL and Sapura who have worked tirelessly to complete the battery of tests over these many months.
