I disagree on a couple of things. Burning cash, or growing business? it’s a tech business and expansion plays to economies of scale. I do think they could definitely/ dramatically tidy up their ship, especially given macroeconomic happenings. In a recessionary environment I think people will flock to an app that they can make extra $$$.
UK deal — accelerating growth of marketplace by giving up some ownership — seems like a really good dragons den deal to me. Only 20% of UK business (not whole business).
CEO salary probably too high given it isn’t exactly cashflow positive. But the guy probably lives and breaths ART.
