Lower economic and lending growth, increasing regulation, higher capital reserve requirements, sustained social/political pressure all facts and probably mean flatter outlook. Recession and defaults on housing loans will do real damage. If you think that is coming sell banks. I reduced earlier and haven't gone back in as yet. ANZ and MQG are my preferred banks due to their broader businesses.
