The company should not second guess what shareholders may or may not know.
As long as they are compliant with continuos disclosure rules and the info is out in the public domain, they are not obligated to rabbit on about what they think may be happening to their share price on ASX's requests for price/vol queries.
If it's general communications you have a beef about they can do this by other effective means (e.g. a shareholder update letter, etc.).
