The ASX did not ask TIS to say why the SP rose. It asked whether it may have any explanation for the rise. The company does not KNOW and will never KNOW for certain why investors have chosen to invest in the company.I dont KNOW why the SP rose for the same reason.
However, most people on this forum have an explanation for it which is pretty obvious, sensible and reasonable, that is, the likelihood of a CE mark and sales in the near future as previously announced. Apparently however, the company has no idea why it happened....
As to whether it is the company or the ASX which decided whether a matter or event is price sensitive, with respect, I think you will find it is the company. Can you see the ASX ever having the resources to monitor every event or matter that happens to every listed company to determine whether it is price sensitive or not....
