asx enquiry, page-39

Perhaps someone can tell me why the ASX is significantly down today? I guess we will just have to guess as apparently we can never know what is in the minds of investors.

Maybe a lot of people received tax bills this week and have to sell to pay their tax. Maybe the impending carbon tax has driven it down. I guess no one really has any reasonable idea why the ASX is down today. We can guess, but we don't know, do we?

I suppose those on this forum who say it is only a guess why the TIS share price rose last week also have no reasonable explanation for why the ASX is well down today.
