If you have access to Commsec you can still get eod data there for free, but its very hard to find. To subscribe to Commsec's eod data goto:
Portfolio / Offers & Apply / Information Services / After Market Close Notifications - Market Picture
Then select the data format and push the "Subscribe" button. It gets emailed to you around 9-10pm on trading days.

Other data like: Market cap, shares on issue, dividends, etc. can be accessed via MarketIndex: https://www.marketindex.com.au/
