Another week, another series of highs for gold indices, gold spot and individual gold producers.

Macro Comments

• Australian All-Ordinaries Gold Sub-Industry (XGD - which includes the majority of these producers, supplemented by some exploration companies) - up 5.8% on the week, up 29.2% on the year
• US Gold Juniors (GDXJ) - up 4.7% on the week, up 14.5% on the year
• US Gold Majors (GDX) - up 3.5% on the week, up 22.1% on the year
• ASX200 - up 2.6% on the week, down 9.4% on the year
• Spot price (USD) - up 0.6% on the week, up 16.3% on the year
• Spot price (AUD) - down 0.1% on the week, up 17.1% on the year

Biggest Risers in the week

• AMI - up 12.2% on the week (up 26.4% YTD) - on the back of positive production update (slightly above the midpoint of the withdrawn guidance)
• RED - up 12.2% on the week (down 30.3% YTD) - bounce from last week's dramatic falls
• KRM - up 12.2% on the week (up 58.6% YTD) - no news; in fact, literally no published news since eo April
• EVN - up 12.1% on the week (up 58.7% YTD) - no obvious drivers (just confirmation of sale of Cracow to AIS)
• AIS, TRY, SAR, MML, WMX, PRU, SLR, GOR, KLA and NST all outperforming XGD

Biggest Fallers in the week

• WAF - down 4.4% on the week (up 98.9% YTD) - no obvious news
• DCN - down 3.4% on the week (down 55.4% YTD) - no obvious news
• RMS - 0.5% on the week (up 66% YTD) - no obvious news, likely taking a breather after last week's rise
