I don't mind them getting those waivers - double paperwork doesn't help anyone - but it should still be necessary for them to give us production numbers for each of their mines in the month following the quarterly - every company including RIO & BHP has to do that.Anvil gave us those numbers in Jan but not a full set of numbers last Oct.- obviously just a misunderstanding then of ASX requirements.
So does the trading halt mean the company has already recd the review decision and just wants to word the announcement correctly or are they expecting the decision from the DRC govt in the next 48hrs? I'm surprised that they would be able to tell us the decision before the appeal process was finalised - maybe they've been told the decision verbally & have decided to accept it which would mean they could announce it.
It'll be interesting to see how the other DRC players handle the issue in the next 24hrs - I was interested to see that MWE made a placement last Friday but no announcement or trading halt on Monday.
