Yeah wouldn’t surprise me . Government departments do need to recruit from private sector. You can see what that sort of mentality did for the USA , treasury allowed the banking sector to spiral out of control then bailed them out taxpayers money which was never payed back. Wash rinse repeat . Fed treasury all ex private banking executives. You can see how have it was to get the government to commit to the royal commission into the banks here. We were told repeatedly we didn’t need it.
