    tcisboss - not harsh at all IMHO. The Aud has fallen from 98c to 60c in less then 3 months, consumer confidence is at record lows, oil prices have also fallen from $150us pb to $60us pb, though there has been very little movement at the bowser...they dont want to enforce price regulation as they will miss out on their precious fuel excise.

    The alcopop tax was a flop, in addition the luxury car tax.. (lets face it, you cant even go and buy an Australian made top line Holden without incurring a rediculous luxury car tax).

    The recent deposit gaurantee sounded great at first, then the government ended up with egg on their face becuase they ignored advice from both the libs and the RBA.

    Im not blaming the credit crisis on the labour government, but what I am saying is that they have had an impact on the consumer confidence since been voted into governement.
