Ok, noted. But what advantage do I have in buying in the aftermarket? There is plenty of time to buy during the day, so why would I need to use a broker like Interactive Brokers? Is it so I can buy a smaller number of shares that Comsec and ANZ Share Trading would reject as being unmarketable? And if I can buy say a handful of shares (a less than marketable parcel) will I be charged full brokerage rates? Or is that just for others?
