to others who follow this issue much more than me…
Genuine question, (probably naïve) ..but why wouldn’t ASIC regulate with ASX that all trades under 0.0000001 of total SOI be hit with a same amount as a transaction fee (regulator makes some money out of it along the way) ?
In our case that would be ~$26 min trade
it would have more implications for the likes of BHP, ( 0.0000001 of SOI would be ~$500) but still proportional
I’m sure my % is wrong but someone much smarter could come up with a calc that could work ?– just asking about the general principle
