The starting point of the auction is the last trade at 4.00. The auctions that follow leave one at the mercy of the HF trader. The ASX sold the rights of those manipulations {layering etc.} to those with glass fiber to the node in the ASX building for 9 million dollars according to last year's annual report, which I consider extremely cheap for the ability to skin other participants in the auctions. As to the quarter of a cent increments, I cannot place a bid at a quarter of a cent with Nabtrade, can you with your broker?
