Kapo, yes SPL is a huge problem for Alcoa!
However also for various reasons Alcoa also own many slag landfills.I know this is he case in Moolap.
During a couple of conversations to the Alcoa environmental blokes about their council app to excavate the Moolap landfill they stated that one of Alcoas priorities was to clean up old slag sites & that they had a 3rd party who had the tech to do this.
Some of the Moolap landfill cells contain SPL.
