many of us use CFDs' quite successfully and
they have been unnecessarily demonised of
late - mostly in the popular press, of course.
as someone mentioned they are a trading tool
and offer many advantages, eg: leverage etc,
but are probably unsuited to the 'set & forget'
lazy investor sub-type that long bull markets
tend to produce.the trick, imo, is in getting
a reputable provider with a decent platform.
