no, these are not 'dangerous times', as
you choose to categorise them... we have
been through countless market reversals
before this - it's just one of the ways
that the market regulates itself and
reverts to fair value over time.
no-one complained when equities were rising
rapidly on little substance and now that the
bloom is off the rose there is all this
wailing and gnashing of teeth and mobs lining
up to lynch a scapegoat....
those who know how to profit in falling markets
should not have their profit opportunities cramped
by unrealistic 'investors' who think that they have
a divine right to endless rising stock prices.
also note that one can use CFDs' for long positions
as well as short.
