People,
Does anyone know much about the new rules around scoping studies for JORC Inferred deposits?
The impression I got was that the companies cant release to the market detailed financial information if the deposit is only JORC Inferred.
BUT I am seeing examples of detailed metallurgical info and geological info coming onto market via Broker/Analyst reports (not company anns), even though the deposit is only Inferred.
IMHO this rule needs to go. Seems to be a set up to entrench the benefit of private briefings.
I dont see the problem with detailed scoping info from Inferred resources as long as all the required detail is there.
Hell, they could even provide the semivariograms and raw drill data, there would be many investors out there who can read it and make their own decisions.
