The company are NOT doing an off market buy back !! They are facilitating either an on market sale or off market sale at the discretion of the company, and are paying the costs of any such sale. I wish people would read announcements fully !!!!!

"2. What price will I receive for shares sold through the Facility?
The price that you receive for your shares under the Facility will be determined by when and how the shares are sold. Citigold directors may sell your shares on market or in any other way they consider fair and reasonable in the circumstances. If the shares are sold on market the price will depend on a number of factors, including market conditions at the time of sale. You will not have control over the time at which your shares are sold. The price you receive may be different from the price appearing in the newspaper or quoted by the ASX on any day, and may not be the best price on the day that your shares are sold and may be an average price per share based on the price obtained for all of the shares sold under the Facility. If Citigold directors sell your shares other than on market, the price will be the price that the Citigold directors have been able to negotiate with the acquirer or acquirers."​

Given the current buy side depth the Directors could say sell down to .001 cents on the ASX and get an offer for the balance from an acquirer at say .002 cents which would be considered fair and reasonable given the lack of liquidity of the share IMHO.

Yes there are many non holders making comments, some have a lot of knowledge about mining and the industry others are ex holders that previously believed announcements that were put out by the company. It subsequently became apparent that things were not quite what they were dressed up to be.
