LC, haven't we been through this before? The exchange rate. The 417.8M is AU$. Right now, the exchange rate is about AU$1 to about US$.74, so if you take AU$417.8M and multiply it by .74, you would get about 312M US. As the numbers go up, it will seem as if the they are farther apart. That's because it's a ratio.
