Looks like someone is shorting but it's a very unusual chart.

Suspect it's possibly a single entity playing it large and nervous. Who is doing the lending? No idea ...Commsec maybe? Maybe Acceric or Stotes might lend a hand...or anybody else that has access to broker reports? Still have difficulty interpreting those but might help.
Have definitely seen signs of SP molestation here but compared to rest of ASX looks like a relatively clean field as far as I can tell. Obvious diddling has been the capping sequence and saw a little centrepoint activity in a couple of sessions but not brutal.

...yep...pip chasing...doubt he'd take the short...leveraged plays can wipe you out quicker than you can blink. Have a grudgingly growing admiration for shorters really. If you can master the technique there's a lot of upside but the risk of getting wiped out is not for weak hearts. You really need to know what your doing and from my limited understanding tight stops are compulsory. So I don't knock the strategy but what I loathe is when they don't declare their position and then downramp the stock to further their agenda of actively attempting to suppress the SP. This is particularly irritating in the mid and high caps. Small caps aren't as susceptible to institutional attacks and far riskier due to large % changes in SP.
NUH could easily and readily become a nightmare for shorts. Doesn't mean we're immune but you'd want to be pretty bloody keen IMO.
I'm not professing expertise as an equity shorter...but have dabbled in EFT'S...they're scary enough for my taste...at least at my self assessed level of trade prowess! I want to try equity's as a safe haven trade strategy in a bear market but when I do I'll be declaring my position and justifying why I took the position not downramping in an attempt to tree shake for my sole benefit.. Also before engaging in CFDs need to thoroughly explore which of the platforms are best punch for the buck! Use CMC as one of two share platforms but have read that they are abyssmal for CFD plays.
