All I know is that every company effected announces it via the ASX, lots of activity involved, however the indexes etc usually do their rebalancing before the official announcement date IIRC. I just did a scan and Maverick is approximately ranked 275th by market capitalization, while they do take into consideration market liquidity as well, I doubt that they are 75 companies above MAD which have inadequate liquidity to be considered for the ASX 200.

I believe that Maverick will remain in the ASX 300, it is safely above the cut off to be taken out, however sufficiently far from the ASX 200 to be reasonably certain it won't happen on the next rebalance date.
