I decided to have a look at some data for the share price and where it sits on the list right now.

remembering to be kicked out it needs to be worse than position 221 on average for the past 6 months.

today, LKE is position 325 - removing all indices and funds, it is position 274. on the face of it, well past 221.

However;

the SMA(180) (Simple moving average for 180days / 6 months) is around 0.95-0.97 for LKE. I actually didn't expect it to be this high. but there you go. it was for good periods of Oct-Dec over $1.10, so does make sense on reflection.

at 95c, that would put the market cap at around 1.33B average past 6 months. quite a lot higher than the 830M it is at today.

as at today - position 221 is 1.23B MC and $1.33B MC would be position 212. This doesn't mean that the average for those positions over the past 6 months is the same of course, as the ASX200 has moved overall. it's moved by 3% in fact, so would mean the average MC of those positions would be slightly lower. but for sake of argument (and sanity), just roll with those numbers, which means for the rolling 6 months LKE would fall somewhere between 212 and 221.

what does this mean? - it means (I think) that being booted out is not necessarily a formality - even though ranked well outside of Top200 right now.

if i've got this quick summary wrong in anyway, please correct me (i know someone surely will!)
