Fantastic stuff @Blue swims - really helping my understanding of this geology. And I'm sure others too.
I had the same thought re the emphasis on how well mineralised and extensive the skarns are. I've seen porphyry systems in the past that turned up very little in terms of mineralisation - how can you have a rich skarn without a rich porphyry driving it? John has said he'd be happy to find an E26 like at North Parkes, which projects he sees as the corollary. i think we'd all be happy to find that!!
