ASX rejects senators call for review of Chess replacement

Very interesting article in the AFR about the ASX and the need for them to "provide confidence to the market" about its CHESS replacement project.

Funnily enough the ASX doesn't believe they need further oversight.

They flagged issues with ASX's consultation, governance and management of conflicts of interest as it replaces the 25-year old equities clearing and settlement system with new blockchain technology. Senator Scarr said these had "caused me grave concern".
