BHP has made me a lot of money over the past 2 years, however, I don't own 1 bhp share. Can't eat paper. I can say however that my roe on BHP has been better than being a long term holder.

Lots of ways to make money in the market. But if you check most charts (and this applies especially to the small caps), any uptrend that can be sustained has been directly from a market specific annoucement. The large caps are very different, their share prices can hover around the fundamentals, & have outside influences eg. commod prices for example.

TMR need to make a market specific annoucement that will jolt it outside of this dreary trading range. Problem is I don't think in the short term they can give one that will impress the market.
