Not a holder but do track the SP so may have missed something but i'd guess it just genuine herd behavior. Market was down yesterday so people sold in fear. Others saw the price was dropping and followed suit to cut losses.
Today people have woken up, the market as a whole it up, they have seen there was a drop yesterday in ASX and thought it is a good opportunity to get in cheaper than it was 2 days ago.
Can't say for sure that there isn't something else going on but herd behavior is more likely than market manipulation.
