My bet is it all proves too much for ASIC. Could they possibly go after a director of the ASX or a Top 100 company? Doubt it. They might choose to go after a hotcopper member as if their post was to blame for the whole thing (that's their usual style) and of course Bolton is an obvious scapegoat with that haircut - guaranteed to make him unsympathetic to anyone of generation X or above.
