as for little lead plays - rookie mistake imo
metal value is metal value.
silver has fantastic optionality - but its tough to get high recoveries from as a primary
any good base metal/silver play offers
free silver production at typically more dependable high silver recoveries.
So then its about which has the biggest moat of silver ratio vs EV - which in Australia is PMY and on ASX is MYL (thats developers as opposed to producers)
wouldnt look at it for north america - too many cheap producers with viable gold/silver
but for australia - id take myl or pmy over svl or ivr every day of the week in terms of likely commercial viability
and as i said - lack of viable silvers here means multiples will be higher than they would in NA - and thats the key compensator vs much lower overall quality
all the above assumes metal values remain somewhat positively correlated ofc - so if you see a great depression 2 its a different story. I dont. i expect 1-2 yrs of recession then a perceived global growth boom)
