    IN that sort of role if you dont take notes you are incompetent.

    My wife is a pretty serious auditor (not financial) and if someone says "you are not allowed to take notes" she writes it down and then ends the meeting with a warning to the participants that they are now on notice.

    So to the person who took notes - you are doing a great job!!
