To: Mgmt of Samson Oil & Gas RE: ASX Suspension & Compliance with Listing Rule 12.2
The ASX advised that SSN was suspended from trading for failing to lodge financial statements by their due date (ASX Listing Rule 17.5), and that notwithstanding SSN having filed the required June 30th, June 2018 and Dec 31st, 2018 financial reports, both reports carry the auditor's disclaimer of opinion with respect to SSN continuing operations as a going concern. As such, under ASX Listing Rule 12.2, SSN will remain in suspension until it demonstrates compliance with ASX Listing Rule 12.2 to the satisfaction of the ASX
What is important to me as a shareholder is what is SSN doing about becoming compliant with Listing Rule 12.2. Now that the refinancing is compete what is preventing SSN from lodging a set of financial statements that do not contain the auditors disclaimer wrt to "going concern".
The HY filed on Mar 18, 2019 contained this statement
You've gotten the refinance to allow SSN to continue as a going concern ....why the hold up to lodge appropriate financial statements with the ASX and announce to shareholders that SSN is actually a going concern (without qualification).
