ASX to ASX Merges

    Hey all,

Am doing an assignment wherein we have to study/report on two ASX to ASX mergers-i.e. both the companies involved were ASX listed before merger.
Two mergers means a total of four companies.
The problem is these mergers must be between 2000 to 2016.

I know many of you have been trading for years, and thought you may have some good suggestions.
I won't detail the questions we have to ask but suffice to say in what I am looking for the four ideal (but not mandatory) qualifiers are:

    1. Easy to understand what the companies involved actually do (how they generate business)-consumer discretionary & staples, real estate, even some industrials etc. fit in here.
    2. The breakdown of the offer is simple-i.e. 1 share for 2 shares etc..
    3. Preferably both before and after the merger the companies do not pay dividends.
    4. A relatively well-known merger wherein finding details of it should not be too difficult

Currently I have Westpac buying St. George, but banking to me is hardly a simple industry.

    Many many thanks,
    Gty
