"No way Soon" came sooner than I thought it would. I can picture North slope now...
Survey pegs sticking out of the tundra with little red plastic flags tied to the top that lead to Charlie from the Dalton, lead forman of the ice road gang prodding the tundra with his measuring pole saying another quarter inch of snow boys.... The men lined up in convoy in there machines, Detroit motors humming breaking the silence.. Headlights shining over the desolation, Heaters on, coffee aroma filling the cabs.
Are things really are that close now to starting?
