What a stuff up ASX, they should just shut it until its fixed. On off on off all day.

That's it for the day: the ASX has officially suspended trading in shares, after the bourse operator couldn't fix technical issues that have been hampering trade all session.
- The RBA emphasises flexibility in its medium-term target of achieving 2-3% inflation
- A consortium led by QIC and with the Future Fund will pay $9.7b for Port of Melbourne
- Macquarie reaffirms its profit guidance but is slightly less bullish on its profit trajectory
- ASX opens 1.5 hours late due to technical glitch, which still affected trade in the afternoon
