Offers have been tabled at much weaker positions of oil price and resource potential.
It's no secret DW wants to emulate the AUT and KOD models.
We won't hit 100 dollar oil anytime soon, but it looks like we have an amazing conventional resource, which just so happens to be under an 8 billion dollar pipeline with year round access.
If you wanna expand your drills in Trump's Alaska and take the quickest and cheapest route to market then you'd opt for the Icewine patch whilst also getting an early look at the "Game changing' unconventional project.
My money is on a deal in the new year, possibly sweetened on confirmation of SOA rebates, with a little pressure from MrT...then throw in that nice INFRASTRUCTURE gas pipeline and then we're cooking.
