I would have changed ages ago but last time I transferred shares from Etrade to Commsec when I gifted some to my wife it took Etrade a month to complete the transaction and the shares were tied up during that time.
Etrade made all sorts of excuses saying it was Commsec's fault, but when I spoke to Commsec in detail all signs pointed to Etrade bullshitting me.
All in all their whole outfit seems abysmal.
So I have been waiting for a good time to move across to the CMC account I opened, but now maybe won't need to.
