YD as much as we would all like to see this stop it is very endemic of the ASX and is occurring across many stocks particularly 'speccy' stocks obviously as we know there is more to gain from a mere pip or two.
Recently over on another stock that some here also hold many of the shareholders were least impressed that even the company released the following company update to the market ASX announcement.
'Trading in Securities.
XXXXX is not aware of any unannounced company information that, if known by some in the market, could explain the recent trading in securities.
XXXXX has sought advice from its ASX advisors regarding the issue of “bot trading” of the stock, and has been advised that this is allowed by the ASX and is legal as long as it complies with relevant ASIC market integrity rules and the Corporations Act.'
Otherwise nothing will be done, however it did seem to have some effect on bot trading and manipulation but for how long who knows.
