    Careful YD in this example, if the 1000 sell drops to 999 your entire order will complete at the next price up.
    So if the next offer was at 5 your full order goes through at 5 despite only needing 1 share at 5 to complete your 1000 bid.
    The strategy does work but not if the algos are against you
