Way out of my knowledge zone here - but if the micro-stims were so definitive then why do the full stims at all!. Clearly they can only be indicative and would have a degree of uncertainty associated with it. I suspect that degree of uncertainty provides no upside benefit to announcing them, other than potentially boosting what are already rampant flow expectations. Particularly so when the actual flow results are only a handful of weeks away. I remember the market disappointment when the DeMac 1 billion was unveiled. I would be willing to bet that DW does not want to risk creating a replica of that underwhelming reaction. Creaming the curve optimally (assuming 2v success) will require the market to be overwhelmed with every subsequent announcement. IMO.
