I don't know that they really flow any better than an an unconventional espc in the first few months.
The real difference being the decline rate for unconventional Vs the more or less continual bpd rate for conventional that SLOWLY declines.
I'm thinking that they r hoping for a hybrid play where they get the best of both worlds which would mean they wouldn't be having to drill as many wells to keep the field production up becos each well would produce more for longer. This is what I'm interpreting they mean to be more LIKE conventional.
This would be due to the good permeability numbers, the good over pressure and the volatile vapour phase liquids in their gas state within the liquids.
As long as the clays behave themselves theres no reason with the numbers they have that this cant flow LIKE a conventional. In this case as explained above the decline rate would be somewhere between these two types of plays.
This also brings into calculation much better efficiencies when potentially applying these new super rigs.
