Van Eck's REMX ETF composition has LTR at 5.5% with 55,162,245 shares worth US$60.2 m in the US$1.1B fund. So to meet the 4.5% cap it needs to reduce its LTR holding by approx US$11 million = AU$15.5 million = 9.35 million LTR shares at $1.64. Spread over 5 days this week, it's around 1.87 million shares per day or 14% of average daily volume. That should be more than offset by institutional buying due to inclusion in ASX 200 index.
