hi @carlos18 absolutely agree , after seeing TO and his competitive and blue sky thinking , he comes across a man of integrity and determination. To go through what I did at BHP left me quite scared because such a toxic culture drives people who have energy and creativity downhill. I feel there might have been several reasons for TO leaving but some I share with him in not being able to keep quite and toe the line attitude.
TO was a senior Exec in the M&A area so if he was coming out with incredible ideas to propel the company, he would have outshine most of them. Which would make him an easy target! I see how he behaves with LionTown, he is free and can really put his experience and creativity and flare into his work. He also feels incredibly appreciated. This encouraging love and respect from his new peers and David and TG changes a man and makes him even more committed.
I was going through hell at BHP.. what must he been going through x 100 ... This made me feel he truly loves his work and really wants to prove to everyone one and to himself he can succeed ... "You didn't listen to me before now Look at what I can achieve!!! " So this is more than financial skin in the game for him it's more his life's reputation on the line. And when you actually have a key Exec that's got more on the line ... SUCCESS is worked upon day and night. This is why LionTown will be huge , because TO and TG both have the drive, where else do you get such determination??? No joke, but this is why LionTown will be a true success !!! Seriously!!!
A lot of eyes looking at TO to fail... and TO is now free to really show Perth, Australia even the World ... Look what I can do... If I knew nothing about the company, SP or any fundamentals or even future announcements, or their resources, I would simply invest in TO and TG. Just by having them onboard doesn't matter what company they run , they will bring success through their integrity and dedication. That's enough on its own and commands incredible merit.
hi @golden6 am glad you invested in FMG @ $5.27 , look at your profits now !!! And you are right about Execs who either want a bonus despite achievements ( look at Banks) or Execs who get recognition and rewards based on their achievements and go to incredible heights ... TO is one of them I believe !!! I originally thought TO is overshadowed by TG but now I understand why TO joined LionTown. Great thinkers pool together to create even more greatness!!! Simply put this is why LionTown will be great ... so much to prove from a personally angle , Have not seen it like this apart from Apple, Coca Cola, Tesla ... why ? Because they simply need to show the world they can do it and the stars always align for down right hard achievers , so by me simply being part of their circle (shareholder) I may be given the opportunity to achieve as well. This is why I read @anatol regularly, because he is an achiever, a thinker, a good risk taker , he puts himself right in the middle of "greatness". So the probability becomes 100 to 1000 folds in time !!! Most of you have experienced this from $0.02 cents to now ... So you are all part of the TOP 3% , you happened to believe in fiction, fairytales, that became reality, success attracts success and integrity multiples it x 1000 I know this from my dear friend @rednoff
hi @wingedwarrior Since me leaving BHP there have been "15" strategy consultants leave , yes 15!!!, why because creative people cannot exist in cesspools . As a matter of fact I actually know the latest consultant there and who is going through again major issues.
Maybe I should reach out to TO for strategy work ... would be fun to work with someone fully enthusiastic!!!
